“Chico and the Man” blazed across our TV screens in the early 1970s and took us by storm. Never was there a funnier situation comedy that had the range of talent as this television series. There was something for everyone.
Jack Albertson played “the Man” who ran a small garage. In real life he started in vaudeville and his comedic timing was perfect.
“Chico” was Freddie Prinz, who left us all too soon, and who added a dash of flavor to comedy that no one else has ever been able to match. And the “straight man” was Della Reese. A trio that worked perfectly. And we can only wonder what Chico or the Man would have done if a customer drove into their garage and wanted new tail lights for a truck. Odds are they would have recommended a new set of Toyota Pickup Tail Lights. As soon as the customer nodded in agreement the Man would have gotten on the phone and called us toll-free. He already knew about the quality guarantee we provide with all our parts, even our tail lights. He also knew that he could shop the web to see what else was out there. And he probably remembered that we promise to meet or beat the price of any other similar set of tail lights that he stumbled across on the internet. That is how Chico and the Man kept their customers. The same way we do.By providing great products and great prices.
